Overnight visits to hospitals are never very pleasant as everybody would rather be in their own bed with their familiar home comforts. However, sometimes it is necessary to stay in hospital overnight so to make your stay as easy and stress-free as possible, we have compiled a comprehensive check list to help you remember everything you will need.

First of all, lightweight cotton nightwear is the most important thing you will need if you want to avoid the old-style bottom bearing hospital gowns. Hospitals are usually kept very warm so choose a nightdress that is made from cotton and is lightweight.
